3rd Annual North Country Home and Backyard Expo Returns to the Lake George Forum March 28-30, 2008:

Show to Feature 70 Area Builders, Remodelers and Suppliers Showcasing
the Latest Products and Designs; Free Educational Seminars Offered

As Glens Falls continues its metamorphosis, fueled by the metro area's state-leading job growth, regional home sales and remodeling starts continue keep pace. Residents of the Adirondacks and its surrounding communities planning to build a new home, add an addition, deck or sunroom, or simply remodel an outdated kitchen or bath, will find inspiration at the 3rd annual North Country Home & Backyard Expo set for March 28-30 at the Lake George
Forum.

Show hours are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors, $1 for youth ages 6-17 and free for children under six.

"For anyone who is building, remodeling or just getting started, this is an event you cannot afford to miss," said Premier Events President Eric Johnson. "Under one roof, we'll feature countless professionals to help homeowners turn their dreams into reality, as well as save time and money."

Hosted with support from The Builders and Remodelers Association of Northern New York, this year's event will feature elaborate showroom exhibits and experts from all areas of the home building, remodeling and backyard industries, including home building, home design, flooring, heating and air conditioning, kitchen and bath, lighting, landscaping, windows and doors, sunrooms and solariums, hot tubs and spas, concrete and fencing.

In addition to having face time with countless home professionals, attendees will also be able to soak up helpful and informative seminars presented by local and regional experts on the latest home technologies, financial information, and advice for remodeling or renovating their
homes. There will also be a "Kids' Zone Workshop," where youngsters can participate in fun filled activities, and where little ones can burn off steam.

"Expo visitors are encouraged to bring plans, ideas and scrapbooks to share with our experts," Johnson explained. "Attendees should also plan to bring along note taking supplies to jot down much of the advice they'll receive."
