Sawchuk Brown Associates Heralds a New Hire

KATHLENE THIEL JOINS SAWCHUK BROWN ASSOCIATES AS COO

ALBANY, N.Y. – An expert in business management for improved performance, Kathlene Thiel has joined Sawchuk Brown Associates as chief operating officer.

Thiel has worked successfully in sales, marketing, program and creative development, personnel management and administration in corporate positions at AT&T, Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble. As an enterprising entrepreneur, she also has founded and/or owned several area businesses including Thiel Consulting, the Knowledge Network Inc. and Driver Training Network.

Thiel earned a B.A. in economics from Union College and a M.B.A. from Union Graduate College. As a graduate student, Thiel was appointed to Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, the highest recognition in business studies.

A committed community volunteer, she has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Mohawk & Hudson Humane Society, the Regional Food Bank of NENY, the Salvation Army, Union College and the Shaker Junior High School PTA.
